Welcome to St. John the Divine!
St. John the Divine is a vibrant and exciting congregation. The church opens every day at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. From morning to evening it is filled with activity. People are everywhere, participating in worship services, Bible studies, playing basketball or doing aerobics in the Parish Life Center, attending Scout meetings or being involved in other youth functions, eating a meal, browsing in the Bookstore, or engaging in a hundred plus other programs and events. Still, all we do has one basic purpose... to affect people's lives in such a way as to deepen their relationship with God as He uniquely is known in Jesus Christ. If we fail in this calling, we believe we will have failed in all!
At St. John the Divine You May...
...experience corporate worship where the Holy God is acknowledged, revered and praised.
...explore and embrace God's purpose for your life through the Holy Scriptures, tradition, experience and reason.
...identify your individual and spiritual gifts and use them in the Lord's ministry of servanthood.

A Holy Place to Be... And Preserve
God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you; open the eyes of our hearts to the hope of your calling, the riches of your glorious inheritance and the incomparable great power towards us who believe, so that we may faithfully carry out your plans for this church. Grant to the leadership of St. John the Divine the knowledge and insight of the Holy Spirit when planning for the renovation and repair of your church. Grant to the members such a desire to give generously that future generations might be drawn to worship here in the spirit and truth, and grant that all who enter this Holy Place might experience the blessing, joy, and peace of knowing you, O God, most especially as you are known in Jesus Christ, whose Name we proclaim, and in whose Name we pray. Amen.
